Diopside Tumble Stones

Diopside is a calcium silicate mineral with a monoclinic crystal system.  Diopside was first described around 1800 and it’s said its name derives  from the Greek ‘dis’, meaning ‘twice’, and ‘òpsè’, meaning ‘face’.

Diopside is a stone of service.  It increases compassion, opening your heart to the suffering of others and encouraging you to be of service to the planet through a profound sense of connection with the earth.  Spiritually, it can help by teaching humility and assisting in honoring what you really feel.
