Also known as Bertrandite, Purple Passion, Opalized Fluorite, Purple Opal & Ice Cream Opalite
Tiffany Stone or Bertrandite is a natural gemstone, that is Opalized Fluorite with a mixture of minerals including Clear Quartz, Bertrandite, Opal, and Purple Fluorite. A purple, lavender, white gemstone sometimes with patches of mauve, yellowish-brown and black. The purple colour that characterizes Tiffany Stone was created by fluorine gases, while the distinct black-colored veins were caused by manganese oxide; all of which were sealed within the sedimentary layers, becoming opalized over time. Unlike precious opal, Tiffany Stone does not display any opalescence or “play of colour” that is common in its namesake. Considered one of the most scarce, beautiful and unusual stones in the world, this stone comes only from one very small area in the Western deserts of Utah, at the Brush Wellman beryllium mine in the Topaz-Spor Mountains of Juab County’s Sevier Desert which adds to the rareness of this stone.
Tiffany Stone is an extremely rare and complex gemstone. It is a highly energetic but subtle stone and is said to help with communication and interpretation of received information of all kinds, including telepathic, channeled, clairvoyance, and others, encouraging us to be more open and receptive.
Psychologically, Tiffany Stone encourages persistence and following the soul’s path wherever that might lead. It is said to be excellent for removing energy blockages of the meridians and chakras and for bringing out emotional strength.
Tiffany Stone is helpful in assisting transitions during changes of all kinds, engendering persistence and verbalizing hidden or secret feelings. It is said to fill the heart with unconditional love. This stone also encourages decluttering at every level (does not seem to work on my other half LOL).
Mentally, Tiffany Stone enhances clear thought and mental acuity, supporting academic study. Tiffany Stone is also said to be beneficial for business and business success.
Physically, Tiffany Stone has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity allowing energies to flow freely. It boosts the sex drive and can enhance sexual experience, (hence the name Purple Passion!) and is an all-around healing stone. Particularly good to strengthen bones and ligaments and for arthritis.
